CIP Institute and its projects introduced in Madrid and Lisbon

In May 2017, the President of CIP Institute, Dr. Hugo Marynissen, and the Chief Executive, Juan Manuel Domínguez, visited Madrid and Lisbon in order to introduce CIP Institute and our activities, promote our 4th International Conference in Lisbon on 16th June and explore further collaborations.

The activities in Madrid consisted of several meetings. Highlights were the ones with BSI-Iberia (the Spain & Portugal chapter of the British Standards Institute) and IE Business School, one of the top business schools in the world. For the latter we discussed how they might support CIP Institute in terms of informing alumni and faculty. We also held a very interactive information session in the center of Madrid with high profile participants.

The activities in Lisbon were hosted by Dalila Antunes, Member of the Board of CIP Institute. We held two information sessions, addressing in total about 16 participants: business continuity managers, CEO’s, health & safety inspectors, civil protection members, …

The result was an extensive yet fruitful week on the Iberian Peninsula! Participants were really engaged in the conversations. Some of them are considering attending the conference in Lisbon while others promised us to spread the word about the CIP Institute and its activities.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re interested in organising an information session like this in your city.
