Call for suggested conference topics

What do you want to take away from the Amsterdam CIP conference?

As you hopefully have marked in your calendar: the next CIP Conference will take place on 2-3 July 2015 in Amsterdam. As conference committee, we want to make this annual event as appealing as possible, of course. The CIP Institute stands for exchanging knowledge and experience, so your input is highly needed!

Our questions: Please take a moment to mail or tweet us and describe 2 or 3 possible conference topics.

  • What do you want to learn more about?
  • What do the people in your networks want to learn more about?

Suggested topics can be specific cases, sectors, development, papers, research, challenges, speakers, et cetera; anything related to the Complex Interactive Processes that surround crises. But please, be as specific as possible. As you can imagine, it will be hard to provide a sound workshop or keynote on a generic topic like “Risks in the public sector”.

After analyzing your input, we will take the time to present the results. In November, we plan a member webinar to give you the opportunity to discuss these topics.

Thank you very much in advance!

UPDATE: We are surprised by the diversity of the topics already submitted. If you haven’t done so, please take five minutes to share your ideas with us. We are curious about the actual topics and questions related to risk and crisis that are important from your perspective.

On Friday 21 November at 12:00 am CET, we organise a short member webinar to go through and discuss the various ideas and identify questions that emerge from multiple fields. Please save the date, an invitation with practical details will follow.
